Children are a gift from God! At Highland Park, we are committed to planting God’s Word within the hearts the children so that it will take root and grow in them for a lifetime. Regularly, we present the Gospel to children. We teach them God’s Word each time we meet, and we strive to fill their church experience with plenty of love and fun. Our kids are the church’s future, so we make it our goal to come alongside our parents to grow and mature them into fruit-bearing disciples.
Teachers strive to teach children about Jesus through many learning modalities as we know that all children do not learn in the same way.

Team Kid is our program for children’s ministry on Sunday nights.
AWANA occurs on Wednesday nights from August to May during roughly the same timeframe as the JCPS school year.
On the fourth Sunday of each month, all elementary students have the opportunity to participate in children’s church. It is an active and engaging lesson that focuses on the content of Pastor Austin’s sermon from the prior Sunday. It takes place after worship in song.
